Hand Signal

It is important for you to show your intentions to other road users using proper signal indications. While some of the actions (left turning, right turning, stopping, etc.) can be indicated using both vehicle lights and hand signals, there are some actions for which you must use hand signals.

Such actions include giving indications to the following vehicle to overtake your vehicle, asking the following traffic to slow down their vehicle, etc. Therefore, it is important for you to use the following hand signals when needed, as shown below.
