Inclement Weather - Rain, Fog
Climatic conditions change throughout the year. Dry climatic conditions are the most favourable for driving due to good visibility and dry road surface.
However, in other climatic conditions, such as rain and fog, the road condition and visibility are hindered, and hence, driving in such conditions becomes challenging.
During any inclement weather or unfavourable driving conditions, your first reaction should always be to adjust your speed accordingly.
While driving in inclement weather your intention should be ‘to see and to be seen’ (i.e. improve the visibility).
In this section, the safety rules and guidelines for driving in such conditions are specified.
